Frequently Asked Questions
How do I look after my silver jewellery?
Sterling silver does tarnish (just from the air and any moisture), so it's best to take off your jewellery before you shower or do the washing up, and keep it away from creams and perfumes. When you're not wearing it, best to keep it in a (preferably airtight) box and give it a polish with a polishing cloth at the first signs of tarnish. Storing with a silica sachet (like the ones you often get in food packets) helps to slow the process too.
How long will it take for my item to be made?
As each item is made by hand to order, it can take up to 2 weeks to dispatch. However, if you are after something by a certain date, please do let us know (email@example.com) and we can see if it is possible to meet your preferred date.
Can I send it as a gift directly to the recipient?
Of course! All our items are packaged in a box ready for gifting so you can send it directly to the recipient. If you would like a message to be included with the gift, just let us know and we will make sure to include it before we post it.
How will I know if my order has been dispatched?
You will receive an email once your item has been dispatched. If you don't receive the item with 7 days for UK and 15 days for the rest of the world, please send us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will follow it up for you.
What if my ring doesn't fit?
Please email us at email@example.com if you have an issue with the sizing of your ring and we will endeavour to resize your ring to the correct size. We take care in ensuring the ring is made to the requested size, however sizes can feel different depending on the thickness of the ring. Thicker bands tend to feel a little smaller than thinner bands, so if ordering a size based on a thinner band ring, it might be better to go a half size up!
Can I return an item if I have changed my mind?
Returns and exchanges are accepted as we know that sometimes things change. Just send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org)within 14 days of receiving the item and return the item to us unworn and in its original condition. We will issue a refund of the item minus the delivery cost, and return cost will be the responsibility of the customer.
What if an item arrives faulty?
Please send us an email immediately (email@example.com), and if possible, with a photo of the fault. We will be happy to make a new piece for you or offer a full refund. Just return the faulty item to us in its original condition/packaging, and we will cover the return postage.
Do you do special commission pieces?
Absolutely! Just send us a message (firstname.lastname@example.org)and we can discuss what it is you are after and work on creating something beautiful and special just for you!
Can you personalise any jewellery?
We can add initials or dates to rings or flat surfaces (discs on rings or pendants) that have a size of at least 4 mm. Adding a wedding date to the inside of a wedding band is the most popular option. So in general, as long as there is enough space, we can add personalisation.
Can I make changes to my order?
If your order has not been dispatched, we may be able to make changes (depending on the nature of the request). Just send us an email (email@example.com) and we will get back to you.
Can I cancel my order?
Usually, it will not be possible to cancel your order and you will need to return the items for a refund. However, please send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) as we may be able to cancel your order if we have not yet started making them.
What ring size am I?
There are lots of ring size charts online that you can print out and compare against one of your own rings. Or you can measure the circumference of your finger and use these charts to find your size. Cheap ring sizers are also available online.
How can I pay?
